Eric,

I will not be able to attend the meeting because I will be at the Planning and Zoning Board meeting presenting the case for urban hens in Fort Collins. Could you please mention this at the Green meeting and refer folks to our blog at:

www.fortcollins-urbanhens.blogspot.com

It would be great if the Fort Collins Urban Hen Coalition could get the endorsement of the PVGs!

Much thanks,

Dan

This Thursday, May 15, at 7 pm is our monthly Poudre Valley Green Party get-together. Nancy was busy with another commitment, Susan and David volunteered their house, so we decided to hold it there. The address and directions are below. Please bring beverages or food to share. As usual, anyone can put something on the agenda, but I would like to include: (1) report back from the recent Colorado Green Party meeting (2) Bob Kinsey for US Senate campaign (3) Global Warming forum (4) Iraq Withdrawal resolution at Fort Collins City Council May 20 (5) housekeeping.

Eric,

I guess the meeting is going to be at our house, so here are driving directions:

Susan Pennington and David Poulson
3509 County Road 1
Windsor, CO 80550
970-686-6718

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=3509+County+Road+1,+Windsor,+CO
+80550,+USA&sll=40.539553,-104.944196&sspn=0.008855,0.018239&ie=UTF8&ll=40.53875
4,-104.944196&spn=0.008855,0.018239&z=16&iwloc=addr

County Road 1 is Larimer County Road 1 and Weld County Road 13 at the same
time, i.e. the county line or "South County Line Road." We are closer to
Timnath than to Windsor, but for mail delivery purposes, we get labeled
"Windsor."

CR 1 is east of I-25, so you have use your favorite I-25 overpass, and then
go three miles east if you chose Mulberry or Prospect or 2.5 miles if you
chose Harmony. At CR 1, you will probably see a sign for Weld County Road
13 before you see Larimer County Road 1. You need to get to the
intersection of Larimer CR 1 and Larimer CR 40, which is Horsetooth, but
that doesn't cross I-25. From Harmony, CR 40 is one mile north. From
Prospect, CR 40 is two miles south, and from Mulberry, that's three miles
south. The house is in the northwest quadrant of the intersection of CR 1
and CR 40. The house is just north of the intersection on CR 1. It is tan
with green trim, and there is a greenhouse and giant satellite dish in the
yard. You can see it well with Google street view.

We cleaned the house, so we are expecting a great turn out!

-David
