Hi all
This was a letter from today's Coloradoan which I forwarded without
comment. However, I realize now that the heading saying it was from the
Coloradoan was omitted. I hope that clarifies.
My impression is that Ritter is anti-choice but for the purposes of the
gubernatorial race has acquiesced to a pro choice position. One would
hope that he would act accordingly if elected, but I personally have my
doubts.
I sent this because the Greens came close to entering the gubernatorial
race. Most Greens and progressives are dissatisfied with Ritter not only
because of the abortion but more generally because his right wing
politics across the board. I do not believe that he should be governor or
that he would be particularly more desirable than Beauprez.
My impression of Ritter from his tenure as DA is that he respects people,
women and men, about as much as Guilliani --- not very much.
Sandy
